Arthur Browne (27) , a former model, Top model SA 2016 finalist and managing director of V-Models has been appointed as the Regional director for Pageants SA and Africa Pageants for the Free State.
Pageants SA and Africa Pageants was founded by Carolyn Baldwin in 1999 in answer to the need for a fair and honest pageantry system that is above board. They have since crowned 6000 titleholders with various titles owned by Pageants SA. These titleholders have been involved in communities and assisted with charitable work that assisted an estimated 800 000 people through events put together by titleholders.
The regional finals on 09 November 2019 will take place at Sun Windmill Casino in Bloemfontein that will provide a prestigious platform for aspiring local entrants who believe in making a difference to be selected for the national finals to be held in Pretoria in 2020.
All applicants are expected to raise proceeds and goods towards the regional final beneficiaries “Reach for a dream” and “Guardian & Angel”
Browne says “This is a unique opportunity for models, beauty queens and -kings in the Free State to be recognized for their talent on a fair and honest local and national platform. It will give them experience and exposure to some of the best pageant opportunities in South Africa and not just the Free State”
These type of competitions are not just about beauty but rather “Beauty with a purpose” through involving titleholders in communities and charitable activities.
